Report Writing for Warriors 30 days

Officers work so hard to be a warrior on the job, enforcing the law, investigating, being strong, and facing constant challenges. The reports of this work should reflect the strength of the officers and the details of the situation, rather than being just a skimmed-over summary.
This class will cover grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proper sentence & paragraph structure. We will also talk about how to make sure you include all the details in your report that will answer a lot of questions later. Included are some practice activities story-writing and narratives, to help you get into the flow of writing really good reports. Good reports will come from good field notes, so we’ll talk about making good notes and asking good questions as well. And then... who do you write these reports for? What will they use them for, and what are they looking for when they read them? We’ll talk about how to write for the real purpose of your reports.
This class requires participation in activities & practice exercises for full completion status.

This enrollment provides access to the class for thirty days.
