People and situations can get out of control quickly when emotions are involved. Many quickly-escalating encounters have elements of anger and fear, and those emotions can cause people to act in ways they normally would not. This course will teach the techniques to help calm anger and fear, be a stable influence in chaos, and prevent injuries or long-term damage.
This course also includes our "Police Threats: Managing Fear & Panic Responses" course, all within this same online course classroom. You'll watch the first 4 videos, on De-Escalation, and then you'll go directly into Police Threats (5 videos).
